How do I schedule an inspection?
After you have obtained the proper permit(s) for the work you are doing, you need to schedule inspections during the course of work. A yellow Inspection Card is given to you at the time your permit is issued. We offer two ways for you to schedule inspections. The Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system is available 24 hours/day, 7 days/week and can be used by anyone who needs to schedule an inspection. The IVR is a menu system with both Spanish and English available. If you are a licensed contractor and know you are entered in the COT PDSD Permitting system, you may schedule inspections online at the link below. If you are not sure of the order in which your inspections should be performed, please contact the plans reviewer or the inspections department for guidelines.
